“What are we going to do, the water is rising and the only way out is up.” This is what the main character said as he and eight other passengers on a cruise ship stared at a dismal situation. A random tidal wave had hit their ship and they were all caught off guard in a state of panic. A former navy soldier took charge and began a climb to the top of the ship. He knew he had to make it to the top in order to survive. As they all climbed, it was obstable after obstacle to continue on their journey. There were cabin fires, falling beams and flash floods on their way to the top. However, you could tell that navy soldier has one thing on his mind, “No turning back!”
Friends, we must have the same thing on our minds as we walk into our buildings this morning. No matter what we face, whether it be an angry parent, a disruptive student or an uncooperative co-worker, we must continue on our journey. Let no obstacle stop you from staying focused on the good that you are doing. Meditate on this word today:
Hebrews 10:36: You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
Be relentless friends! There is a much bigger picture at the top of the ship that you are climbing, than what you can see! Keep climbing!
